Meltra ("we", "us") is built to help you understand your own eating patterns. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you use Meltra, we collect: (a) account details you provide (name, email, password); (b) profile information used to calculate your nutrition goals (weight, height, age, biological sex, activity level, and your stated goal — lose, maintain, or gain); (c) photos of your meals that you choose to upload for analysis; and (d) the nutrition data derived from those photos (dish names, calories, macros, and related details), which you can edit or delete at any time.
We use your meal photos and profile information to: generate nutrition estimates for what you've eaten, calculate personalized calorie and macro targets, and surface coaching insights based on your own logged history (for example, a protein trend or a balanced-plate pattern over the past two weeks). We do not use your data to train public AI models, and we do not sell your personal data to advertisers.
Meal photos are sent to a third-party AI service provider for analysis (identifying dishes and estimating nutrition content). If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Razorpay — Meltra does not receive or store your card, UPI, or banking details directly; that information is handled entirely within Razorpay's own secure systems.
We retain your account and meal history for as long as your account is active, so that trends and history remain useful over time. You can delete individual meals at any time from within the app. If you'd like your entire account and associated data deleted, contact us at the email below and we'll process the request within a reasonable timeframe.
You can access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. Meal names and details can be edited directly in the app; broader requests (full data export or account deletion) can be made by emailing us.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including transmitting data over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
Meltra is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.
We may update this policy as Meltra evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
