These terms govern your use of Meltra. By creating an account, you agree to them.
1. Using Meltra
Meltra is a nutrition tracking and coaching app built around Indian home cooking. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
2. Nutrition estimates are estimates
Meltra uses AI to identify dishes and estimate calories, macros, and other nutrition values from a photo. These are informed estimates, not laboratory measurements — actual values can vary based on portion size, ingredients, and preparation. Meltra is not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, and should not be used to manage a diagnosed medical condition without guidance from a qualified healthcare provider.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Meltra offers a free tier and an optional paid monthly subscription with additional features. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis via Razorpay until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from within the app or by contacting us; cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund the current billing period — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Meltra to upload content that isn't yours to share, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or use it in any way that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that misuse the service.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos and information you upload. By uploading a meal photo, you grant Meltra a limited license to process that photo (including via third-party AI providers) solely to provide the nutrition analysis and coaching features of the service.
6. Limitation of liability
Meltra is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any health outcomes, decisions, or damages arising from reliance on nutrition estimates or coaching insights provided by the app. Always use your own judgment and consult a professional for medical or dietary decisions.
7. Termination
You may stop using Meltra and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Meltra evolves. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
